Most BECKER roller shutter motors have the following features:
If the roller shutter is moving downwards and encounters an obstacle (e.g. a flower pot on the sill), the Becker tube motor stops thanks to the built-in obstacle detection to avoid further damage to the roller shutter. By moving the shutter in the UP direction, the obstruction can be removed.
Becker shutter motors with this function also stop in the event of an obstacle, regardless of where it occurs. However, the reaction time between hitting an obstacle and the shutter motor stopping is significantly shorter. Some tubular motors (e.g. C PROF+) will also reopen the shutter, allowing the shutter structure to be relieved of the load and the obstacle to be easily removed.

Did you know that in cold weather, the shutter flap can freeze to the sill? With a shutter motor with this feature, this should not be a problem.
If the Becker tube motor detects a jam, it automatically switches off to avoid damaging the roller shutter. On some models, the motor not only stops but also immediately releases the shutter.
In cold winter weather, the top of the shutter flap may freeze. Tubular motors with this feature can prevent such freezing by being able to stop the shutter a few millimetres before the upper end stop. This distance can be automatically kept constant thanks to the cyclic control. When the length of the roller shutter slit changes, for example due to thermal expansion. This guarantees trouble-free and long-lasting operation even at negative outside temperatures in the double digits
German quality means precision and safety. When using anti-opening devices, the Becker roller shutter motor presses the roller shutter slats with more force when closed, so the roller shutter is pressed against the window sill with much more force. This makes it considerably more difficult to lift the roller shutters, to raise them and thus to gain access to the apartment. This is a particularly useful safety feature, which comes in handy on short winter days.
The extra-force sealed roller shutter will have a significantly more stable and rigid structure, and the movement and shaking of the roller shutter in windy weather will be significantly reduced, providing even more comfort for people living in a home with a motorised roller shutter

Feel free to set up 2 intermediate (favourite) positions: simply press STOP and FEL in the desired position to set the first position, press STOP and LE to set the second favourite position. Yes, it's that easy! Set positions are easily accessed by double pressing the LE or FEL buttons
Program switching times, nothing is easier with the built-in memory function. At the desired time, press and hold the LE or FEL button on the MemoControl (MC) remote controls for 5 seconds and you have set the switching time for the LE or FEL direction. The programmed times are stored by the tube motor built into the shutter, so they will not be lost even if the battery in the remote control is discharged
With the remote control TC4410-II you can program each shutter motor individually. With the 10-channel remote control, you can set individual time programs for each of the 10 channels, so that each shutter will automatically move the way you want it to. The only limit is your imagination!
If the roller shutter slides out of its case even a little when it is fully open, it can make an unpleasant rattling sound in windy weather. In order to avoid this noise and protect the roller shutter slat and the shutter cover at the same time, our tube motors with this function are able to gently push the roller shutter slat against the roller shutter and thus secure it firmly. This silence also guarantees a long service life.
If the roller shutter slats encounter an obstacle on the way down, tube motors with this function can stop the shutter and then retract the shutter to reduce the load. This avoids damage to the roller shutter and the tube motor, saving you a lot of unnecessary expense.

A variety of wind resistant textile awnings are becoming increasingly popular today, especially in very windy areas and on tall buildings. Currently, we can supply two types of solutions for this type of textile awnings: one is for the so-called zip or fixscreen awnings, the other is a special fixing element that is integrated in the running track of the awning. Becker awning motors are the ideal choice in both cases. You can choose between tubular motors with fixed locking position (SE) and tubular motors with freely adjustable locking position (E16/C16).
Does that sound familiar? You forgot to put the ladder away after the spring clean. The light sensor closed the awning and the ladder got caught in the arms of the awning. With Becker's awning motors, this is not a problem thanks to the built-in obstacle sensor. In the event of any snagging or jamming, the tube motors will automatically stop the awning from moving to protect the awning from further damage. And depending on the type of awning motor, it not only simply stops, but also relieves the awning by moving in the opposite direction.
To ensure that you can enjoy the shade provided by your textile awning for as long as possible, Becker awning motors are able to stop softly at the top end position to minimise the load on the canvas, ensuring a long life of the awning.

Different wind and light limits for different lights? With Becker's wind-light remote controls (SWC series) and various wind-light sensors, you can provide effective protection for your shades and home decoration equipment and furniture.
The SWS745-II remote control with LCD display allows individual or group control of up to 5 shades, with wind and light sensitivity adjustment per channel. The display and the English menu allow you to set a range of parameters yourself, such as setting different limits or determining when your shades should or should not move according to the intensity of the sun. Turning the light detection on or off does not affect the wind detection function, as wind speed detection is a safety feature to protect your shades and therefore this function cannot be turned off under any circumstances.
